Why is my printer not showing up on my Mac desktop?
If your Mac shows printer states "Offline" or not display in "Printers&Scanners", it means that Mac did not recognize the printer.
Please try to unplug and plug the USB cable on the Mac computer and printer sides.
Then restart the printer (power off then on).
If it is still not displayed in "Printers&Scanners", we need to check the USB connection.
Connect your own flash drive using the USB adapter and check whether the computer can read the data.
Unplug the flash drive and replace it with the USB cable of the printer. Usually, if a Mac can recognize a flash drive, it means that the USB adapter provides a stable data connection for the flash drive. Similarly, the USB adapter can provide a stable data connection for a printer. If the flash drive is not recognized, it may be necessary to change the USB adapter.
