How to maintain the print head for ST425?

Video tutorial for reference:

1. Turn printer off and allow it to cool down (about half a minute);
2. Use alcohol wipes(not water) to clean the print head marked in the following picture;
   
3. Wait 2-5 minutes until the print head is dry, then turn the printer on;
4. Please use high-quality thermal label paper (such as Svantto label paper) as much as possible. Inferior label paper may leave residues on the print head and shorten its service life.

Tips: 

• For optimal cleaning performance, we recommend using 99% isopropyl alcohol or 95%+ anhydrous ethanol.
• Clean the printhead regularly: 
  - Every 1-2 label rolls for heavy-daily usage (Hundreds of labels per day);
  - Every 2 weeks for moderate usage (Dozens of labels per day);
  - Monthly for light-usage scenarios (Small-volume printing).
  Perform immediate cleaning if white lines, faded prints or unreadable barcodes occur.
